Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority achieves certification to ISO 22301 and ISO/IEC 27001
Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) announced that it has been awarded ISO 27001 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ISO 22301 for its Business Continuity Management system. In which ADFCA attains a total of 8 certificates from BSI. This achievement reflects ADFCA’s commitment to meeting the highest international standards in all areas of business.
Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) received this award from the British Standards Institution (BSI). The certificate was handed to H.E. Rashed Mohamed Al Shariqi, the General Director of ADFCA by Mark Basham, Managing director, BSI Group Europe, Middle East and Africa.
H.E. Rashed Mohamed Al Shariqi, said: “We are delighted to receive these certificates, which is a significant milestone in our journey to implementing highest standards in maintaining information management and Performance efficiency. Receiving this award affirms that we are on the right track towards achieving our goals, as we are aiming to enhance customers’ experience.
Mr. Mark Basham expressed that ‘achieving these certifications is a proud moment for ADFCA management and team, it provides evidence of the outstanding level of effort and work that went into attaining these certifications. This achievement highlights the vision of ADFCA system to implement excellence and global best practices to enhance the quality of life throughout the emirate’.
At the end of the ceremony Mr. Mark Basham Handed a trophy to H.E Rashed Mohamed Al Shariqi in appreciation of ADFCA’s dedication in making excellence a habit, in return H.E Rashed Mohamed handed a trophy to Mr. Mark in appreciation for the long term partnership.
